In 1953, when India was finding its feet as an independent nation, Mulk Raj Malhotra and A.N. John founded Band Box Dry Cleaners & Dyers—India's first commercial dry cleaning service. What started in a small Kolkata storefront became synonymous with quality laundering across the nation. The name 'Band Box' meant perfection. The legacy passed through generations, evolving from dry cleaning to industrial laundry, always maintaining the same obsession with excellence.
